Baya Bags was born from a love of travel, craftsmanship, and thoughtful design. Founded by Annie Berryhill, a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology with a background in luxury fashion, the brand was inspired by the artistry of Oaxaca’s handwoven totes and reimagined in modern, timeless forms. Each bag is handmade from recycled materials, a celebration of sustainability, beauty, and everyday ease.
Baya Bags is a collection of handwoven totes and shoulder bags, crafted from recycled materials and created to elevate the everyday. Each piece embodies the balance of artistry and ease, made by hand and made to last.
Named for the Spanish word for berry, Baya is both a reflection of founder Annie Berryhill’s name and a tribute to the place where each piece is made.
